So you need a program that is going to make you Bigger, Stronger and Faster so you can kick some ass? Well, congratulations you have found the perfect program for making this happen! The question now is do you really want to do what it takes to turn yourself into an elite athlete? The reason they are called elite athletes is because only a few can put themselves into this category. All the others give up. Will you give up or will you make it to the promise land?
I was in the same position as you in my career. I was an average ball player and wanted to always play at the next level. Eventually my genetics wasn’t getting the job done, so I had to find something that would reconstruct my DNA and turn me into an elite athlete. This is when I met the legendary Coach Gayle Hatch and his protege Kurt Hester. If you want to learn more about them, then you must watch this priceless interview I did with the Godfather of strength and conditioning, Coach Gayle Hatch. Read more

Jim “The Rookie” Morris Pitching Analysis

by Brent Pourciau · November 3, 2010
Jim Morris and Aroldis Chapman Pitching Analysis
I put together a pitching analysis of Jim “The Rookie” Morris for those who would like to see his mechanics compared to the Cuban defector Chapman who is also a hard throwing lefty. If you do not know who Jim Morris is then you need to see one of the best baseball movies of all time, “The Rookie.” It is a true story about a man at 35 years old throwing 98 mph in a Major League Tryout after losing a bet to his high school baseball team that he was coaching. He was then signed by the Devil Rays and played three years in big league ball. It is more than just an amazing story, it is an inspiration to any pitcher who has the goal or dream to play Major League ball one day.
Today Jim is a motivational speaker and teaches how to accomplish your goals and create success. For more info please visit his website here Jim “The Rookie” Morris.

Velocities in the past fifteen years have skyrocketed. In today’s game we have two handfuls of guys who can hit three digits on the radar gun. Just this season the Cuban defector Aroldis Chapman was recorded at 105 mph. This is the highest velocity ever recorded in a game. Nolan Ryan and Bob Feller are estimated to have thrown harder than this but they used different equipment in those days compared to today’s standards. So they are not on this list because of the technology differences.
The biggest question here at TopVelocity.net and around the web is how are these guys doing this? My answer is digital pitching science and strength and conditioning. There also may be a drug factor in the mix as well to be honest. Let’s take a closer look at these three reasons so we can better understand what is going on. Read more
Brent Pourciau Statistics

by Brent Pourciau · October 27, 2010
After spending almost five years from when my college baseball career ended, trying to get my arm back from rotator cuff surgery during my freshman year in college, I finally decided it was time to take my last shot at reaching my dream of throwing 94mph and playing pro ball.
College was not much of a career because I constantly struggled with my velocity. I topped out at about 86 mph my senior year, though I did get a lot of playing time in college. I finished my career at an NAIA school because NAIA gave me two more years of eligibility due to my almost career ending surgery (The NCAA would have forced me to petition to get these two years back). This was a problem because I graduated college at 24 years of age and I was not even touching 90 mph. Not many pro scouts are looking for 24 year old college graduates who can top out at 86! It took the next five years, searching for some expert advice, to help me reach my velocity goals. I was lucky enough to find some of the best coaches in pitching mechanics and strength and conditioning in the game. This advice, along with a relentless desire to reach my goals, I started to feel a change occurring. I would continue refining my pitching skills after college by playing in almost every well known amateur summer league in the country, along with an opportunity to play professional baseball in the European leagues, including the European Championship in Rotterdam, Netherlands. When I turned 28 years old I decided to move to Los Angeles and try a new career. Read more

Throw 90+mph! – Dominate with your Fastball!! – Make Scouts hunt you down!!! – Throw straight GAS!!!! All Products of the 3X Pitching Approach!
“You will not find a velocity enhancement program this effective on the web. It has helped hundreds of pitchers gain up to 10 MPH and more, from high school to the professional levels. Don’t be that guy who passes these proven velocity secrets by and after your career is already over, regretting that you didn’t purchase this velocity enhancement program in the first place! You have a short window in your career to attract scouts and move up levels of the game. The Ace Pitcher Handbook will give you everything you need to gain the velocity that scouts are looking for. I WENT FROM 84 – 94MPH WITH THIS PROGRAM!”
Brent Pourciau
This will be the best $197 you have ever spent in your pitching career! It is a no brainer!

ACT NOW and purchase the 3X Pitching Velocity Program which is THE guide to 3X Pitching. This handbook is sweeping the web because it is producing results and because it uses the brand new – cutting edge approach to pitching called 3X. That means it is giving out VELOCITY to anyone who is determined to reach their VELOCITY GOALS. This isn’t a quick fix program or a take this pill and pump 90+ infomercial. This is a legit program developed by legit trainers and professionals in the game of baseball.
Included with the 3X Pitching approach is the Fusion System. This is one of the top Bigger, Stronger, Faster Strength and Conditioning programs out on the web today. It was developed by USA Weightlifting certified Sports Performance Coach Brent Pourciau along with the 3X Velocity mechanics, drills and more. Brent Pourciau overcame career ending rotator cuff surgery to pitch professionally and reach his velocity goal of 94 MPH after doctors told him he would never pitch again. That is right, this program is the real thing!!! The only question is are you the real thing and are you ready to take it to a whole new level of performance? Nolan Ryan once said,
“Pitching in the big leagues is a dream. Preparing to pitch in the big leagues is a nightmare!”

Increasing Pitching Velocity
This is not an easy task. It takes a good understanding of velocity mechanics and the will to work and train hard and smart. If you are looking for a quick fix then you are wasting your time. I spent five years of my career only working on reaching my pitching velocity goal of 94 mph and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Do not make the mistake and attend a MLB tryout camp without knowing what to expect and what they will expect of you. If you plan to make an impact this year with scouts I recommend that you visit at least two different camps in distant locations. Call up some teammates and make it a road trip. Each camp may have area scouts from different clubs and scouting bureau scouts who run the tryouts. The reason for attending more than one is to put yourself in front of as many area scouts as possible.

FREE Pitching Chart Download

by Brent Pourciau · November 22, 2009
A pitching chart is a very valuable tool for a pitcher and a coach. For the pitcher it shows you your weaknesses and strengths. It tells you what pitches are working on what batters and what pitches are not working on what batters. It also tells you how many pitches you are throwing per inning which is valuable information for your Coach. Your Coach should know your limit and be prepared to rescue you if you are getting close to your redline. Read more

MLB Tryouts 101

by Brent Pourciau · July 19, 2009
Every ball player wants a chance to be evaluated as a potential Major League Baseball player. It is a chance to chase a dream and the opportunity to put yourself out there hoping for the best.
The problem is the odds of becoming a Major League Baseball player is 1 out of 290,000. That is like winning the lottery. I am the last guy who wants to shoot down someones dream, especially someones dream to play Major League Baseball, because I had the same dream. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the MLB but some of my friends did and I at least had the opportunity to play professional minor league baseball. This means I beat the odds of playing professional baseball which is 1 out of 3,700. Not as impressive as the MLB but still an amazing experience that changed my life forever. Read more
Biomechanics Of Elbow Injuries During Throwing

by Brent Pourciau · June 21, 2009

Pathomechanics
Biomechanics of Elbow Injuries During Throwing
Elbow injuries in pitchers can be divided into three types, based upon their location within the joint. All three types of elbow injuries are related to the large rotational force – called “torque” – needed to slow down the cocking of the arm and accelerate the forearm, hand, and ball forward. Elbow torque is greatest when the arm is in its maximum cocked position.
Medial Elbow Injuries – The Ulnar Collateral Ligament
From the cocked position, the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) pulls the forearm forward with the rotating upper arm. The tremendous tension produced in the relatively small UCL is close to its limit. Read more
