Hey Guys, I have been having some trouble with loading my weight on the back leg.  Should the load be a squat toward the plate? like not allowing your knee over your toes.  Like droping your "ass" down the mound instread of just bending your knee?

Thanks Chris

Yes Chris good way to put it. You are dropping your "ass" down the mound. Think of it like a vertical leap. You are squating to a point where your leg is supporting all of your weight so you can then fire those leg muscles to drive your weight up. When pitching we are driving our weight in a lateral direction instead of a vertical direction. Here is a good picture of this position.
