OfflineIm 18, 6'1, and throw 83-85 mph. Lately Ive been having some shoulder problems and i think i have an impingement. How much time should i take off and how can i change my mechanics so that i would put less stress on my shoulder. I went to the doctors for it and they didn't say to take any time off and didn't help at all (pretty much said don't come back unless something is torn), so I'm looking for help elsewhere.

OfflineSo basically with my initial shift in momentum all as i need to do is get more back leg flexion (into load) out of my back leg to get me going faster. With this flexion it will get my force vector lined up easier and sooner. correct?
And I've been through multiple online programs claiming to increase my velocity. I've been searching for answers ever since i was 15 and only recently came across your program. I'm glad i did now though before i got seriously injured.

OfflineTo achieve more flexion and a more linear force vector, it takes motor skill training through drills built around these components and the strength and conditioning so you have the power to move through these power mechanics. I highly recommend that you first learn 3X and hip to shoulder separation first before the "Load" position because it is like putting the cart before the horse. This is why the 3X Pitching Velocity program focuses on 3X and Separation. This is where you need to start. This is an off-season program but if you do not plan to pitch a lot this season then you need to start this now.

OfflineI would recommend that you get the 3X Pitching Velocity program and start to learn the mechanics and approach. This will at least give you some help with protecting your arm while adding some velocity this season. As for the strength and conditioning program, I would recommend the 3X In-Season program for this season. It will come out soon. You can then start the entire 3X Pitching Velocity program this summer.
