OfflineGood point there Brent. If you look at Trevor Bauer, he starts in the windup, but he separates his feet before lifting. As for Thomas, you should try to get as linear as possible and reach your top speed just before 3X. As for jumping, I would say more like pushing or driving XD. What I mean is that when you jump, the force moves upward, and when you push it means to force something "forward". But besides that, yes you should be. You can't drive until you get into a linear position, of course it's because the energy doesn't go to the target, but up, I would say be like a sprinter just before they start the race. They get into a linear position, ready to drive. They extend the drive leg foot to get as far out and as fast as possible. Exactly what pitchers need to impliment. :D

OnlineThomas, I would recommend that you start with the 3X Pitching Velocity program. If you work to correct your first move and a better load position, before developing the motor coordination around explosive 3X and converting that into optimal hip to shoulder separation, it will be a train wreck. The 3X Pitching Velocity program will make sure you develop this motor coordination in the correct order along with training your bodies power production, so it is effective enough to move through these power pitching mechanics.
