OfflineThe fusion system is a very good system to use. I trained with coach Gayle Hatch over this summer and i realized how much stonger I got not only by using 3x ace pitcher handbook, but also training with the fusion system. I had the fortunate opportunity to learn from one of the greatest strength and conditioning coaches of all time. I recommend anyone wanting to enhance their lifting by combing the 3x ace pitcher handing along with the fusion system!

OfflineSure, training with coach hatch was one of the best experieneces I have experienced. Learning from one of the best out there and how he develops top athletes and not just top athletes, but he can make you a better athlete like myself. Coach hatch uses the 3 main IMPORTANT lifts to teach explosiveness: Back squat, Power Clean, and the Snatch. These are the lifts that will make you a better athlete and make you more explosive. Training with Matt Bruce and watching him is just an experience itself, it's amazing watching such a little guy lift so much weight. Matt Bruce can clean and jerk 400+ pounds and make it looks easy, just watching him motivates you to lift harder and get as strong as him!

OfflineLove the video that is awesome! This is a little off topic, but how do you increase your clean max? And what is a "good" weight to be cleaning in order to be seeing a carry over into pitching velocity? I've always been a good squatter/deadlifter because I am short, but for some reason, my clean hovers around 215-225lbs. max on a good day. Do you have any suggestions from Coach Hatch or Brent from your training as a USAW certified coach? I weight about 185lbs if that makes any difference.

OfflineYou max is above average for most pitchers. If you are already over your body weight then I would work to get as close to 300lbs as possible. Maybe Daniel can talk more about how the Hatch System increases your max but I follow a similar approach to the Hatch system in the 3X Pitching Velocity program. It is based on percentages and moving through an 8 week cycle using percentages of your 1 rep max changing your percentages and reps per week based on a effective formula.
