I was thinking of going to tryout through NSR. There’s a tryout this Sunday and was wondering if anyone knows what happens. I believe it’s a recruitment agency that pretty much promotes us towards colleges in America. I would love to play baseball in America and was wondering also what the general level of skill is in college.

You can try out, but they accept everybody. Cost wise it isn’t worth it but they will definitely get you in a college school. For what its worth, if your good enough then make a video and send it to coaches.
Hows your velo atm Z?
I did the tryout, got into the interview and its definitely not worth it. It costs about 5k so if you have the money then go ahead but your guaranteed a college it doesn’t mean that you will get any good schools.

all you really have to do, is spam a bunch of schools in the US with some pitching video and statistics, and if you’re decent and have something to offer you’ll likely hear back from a good few of them. Don’t waste your time sending stuff to D1s or even good D2s if you’re not upper 80s or better. I’d highly recommend looking into NAIA programs. They look for pitchers who can get outs and these type of programs give big scholarships. and I promise it’s still good baseball.
