Pitch ends up on top of backstop padding | General | TopVelocity Baseball Forum
Hi there,
Yesterday during a LL majors game, a pitch in the dirt ended up on top of one of the pads behind the plate. Catcher got it easily while runner stole 2nd. He appealed but I let the play stand. Was that a dead ball? I can’t remember if the catcher threw the ball to 2nd but I doubt that’d have any bearing….
Thanks
I didn’t find the right solution from the internet.
