I was a college and minor league baseball player, so I understand the challenges of financially supporting your life while you commit yourself to baseball. Let's face it, college and minor league ball does not pay enough money to take all of your worries away so you can focus on the game. Unfortunately, I discovered some easy ways to make that supplemental income needed to support my baseball career after I had retired from the game which was for mainly financial reasons. I want to offer this information to those who were like me in their college or professional baseball career and in need of some help. If you would like to learn some simple strategies to creating a supplemental income to support your baseball career, please post your questions here or you can contact me by using the Contact US link above, if you would like to speak with me privately.

Brent,

Being a college baseball player in my first year I am beginning to experience some of the financial problems mentioned. Any helpful information you have would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm planning on getting the program for christmas from my parents! Can't wait! Thanks

Hey CSSSaint28, this is a little off topic, but I am also a Minnesota boy and would have gone to CSS if it hadn’t been for the football team starting and the lack of financial aid available. If it’s possible, do you have some info on what your team’s pitching philosophy is? Similarly, what you do for mechanics, workouts, bullpens (calling pitches, emphasis, hitting spots, etc.), and any other things that you can share? I’ve always been impressed with you guys and your strong pitching staff year in and year out and would like to see which ideas I could use when I become a coach.

Also, I played high school ball with Kyle Flagstad. He’s an amazing player and a good guy. Say hi to him when you get a chance.

Thanks!
