Hey everyone, I’ve been reading info on the site for a couple of years now. I am a 35 year-old looking to achieve a personal goal, for nothing more than the love of baseball. I’d like to put a 9-0 on a radar gun in the next year. I’m starting from an experience base of recreational ball until I was 17 and recently a few years in a 25+ wooden bat league. I’m topping out around 80-81 right now.

After reading everything the site has to offer, I’m giving it a shot. I purchased the extreme velocity program and am starting this week. I’ll document everything I can, and with some hard work. I’m hoping to hit that goal by next spring and join that club. I’d love to put a check mark beside this aspiration.

Hey Matt I just want to let you know that it is absolutely possible for you to reach your goal with hard work dedication and reviewing all of the things that are available on this website. I was 29 when I went to see Brent in Louisiana for 3X velocity clinic and it was probably the best thing that I ever did because after that I came home with a new purpose and within 16 months I topped out at 91 mph. I went to a major league tryout just for myself and it was an amazing experience. I have a full-time job but still made the time to do the 3X velocity program minus some of the anaerobic conditioning and I was still able to reach my goal because the Olympic lifting and the med ball and pitching drills are by far the things that got me to where I was at that point. I am playing in an open baseball league this year and I am hoping to stay in the high 80s and I am 32 so I think you will be able to do it. Keep us posted.

Glad to hear a success story! Thanks for the support Stephen. You said the Olympic Lifts, med ball / pitching drills were the most helpful aspects of the program? I started the program this week. I’ve been concentrating on the med ball throws hard and lifting as heavy as I can. I’ve got a ways to go in the weight room, as far as the sheer weight goes, but overall athletically, I think I have a good base.

Do you have any tips or suggestions that you would be willing to pass on from your journey?
