I currently am not signed up for the 3x program or 2x program. I just randomly discovered your youtube videos from watching chapman slowmo. I’ve taken the principles you teach in your videos and I love the reasoning you use and all the clinical studies you cite.

1 year of varsity high school ball
I’m 5’6″ 140
16 years old
sophomore in high school
When I started checking this stuff out 3-5 months ago I topped out at about 73. Since I’ve implemented these principles I’ve moved to the 83ish range. (I need to get gunned again) I know I’ve made good progress, and I think I can get more out of my body currently.
For information as I’ve timed it it takes me .57 seconds from top of my leg lift to front foot strike. My hip rotation timing is between the .03 and .06 slide.
I’ve uploaded a picture of my hip to shoulder separation and the point where I open up. I think my hip to shoulder separation is good enough(but of course could be better).
I’m concerned that I open up too early, do I? The picture I’ve taken of my foot opening up (might be the next slide though which is .12 seconds) is .15 seconds(5 frames) before front foot strike. I think this is a problem. Not too sure though.
Thanks for the help you’ve already given me through your videos!

Fredric,

Thanks for joining! I do not use pictures for analysis because it does not give a good analysis. I can not tell if the front leg has stabilized or the hips have completely open unless I see the frames before and after this picture. I would advise you to post your video for a quick analysis here or setup a 3X Video Analysis.

I’ve posted the video to Youtube. If you ever get to it I’ll be thrilled.
Thanks
