Mechanics looking to become explosive | New Members | TopVelocity Baseball Forum

I have been pitching since t-ball and it was always about getting the right mechanics (no pain) and control on locating pitches. With this 3X system I know my weakness is my strength and being MUCH more explosive.
I just got the 3X system and ready to start HS baseball in 2 weeks, then a 16U travel team into July 2017.
I just turned 15yrs old, HS freshman, 6’2″ 168lb and guessing throw about 78mph?
I also purchased the King of the Hill to work on the back leg drive.
I know I need to work on the initial drive, getting more liner, and then pushing the back leg (not just pulling it thru) and building strength is THE most important thing holding me back… I am the slowest runner, have very little vertical jump, etc. and have relied on my mechanics to this point.
When I do any type of lifts my knees hurt to the point I cant do them. Is this something that will go away as I get stronger?
Here is a video of me pitching in the offseason. I can do all the positions (stay upright and tall, follow thru, plant leg stable, flat back, etc.) but not explosively. I hope to change this going forward.
Any inputs to help would be much appreciated! Looking forward to showing progress to being a high velo pitcher.
