I want to first thank everyone who is registered on the forums here. You have made these forums a great place to share cutting edge pitching information. We are definitely breaking through the conventional wisdom of the game and making a voice. The traffic on the website has almost exceeded 1,000 visitors a day. That is amazing but not enough in my book. I want us to change this game like Billy Beane in Money Ball.

If we are going to make our voices bigger then I need everyone here to start using the Social Networking buttons on the right of all the pages. If you like anything being said on a page then please Like it, Share it, Email it, Tweet it or Google+ it. Do all of the above if it is something that you feel needs to get out. If you push any of them push the Google+ button because it is rarely pushed.

If we can start using these buttons more, this site will completely blow up! We are on the brink of making a big impact in this game because of our growth on this site. Be excited to be apart of this because the day 3X Pitching becomes conventional wisdom, is the day that you can say I had a lot to do with 3X Pitching making such a big impact on the sport we all love! We all know that 3X Pitching is not only helping young pitchers reach their velocity goals but it is also preventing injury and helping them get closer to their baseball dreams. Support this by pushing those buttons. Thanks for all your help and I can't wait to see how big we grow here!

Can you show me anything that is ‘cutting edge’ about this site….and not archaic?

Including this software.

I’m pretty sure we all find your posts to be very annoying so far.

Got to agree with norcal here. Techerman, I dont know who you are or even if you know what you’re talking about in any of your posts. Dont really care honestly, but anyway what do you think you’re accomplishing with these posts? You just come in here one day and refute a lot of things Brent has said and believes. Now maybe some of the things you said were correct, I honestly dont know . Most of us here trust the things Brent posts because he has a track record of helping guys increase there velocity and not to mention when he posts something on here or in an article he usually posts a link of some sort backing up his claims.

Then, you just come in here with no credentials we dont know who you are or what you’ve accomplished and you expect us to believe you? And you say things like “wring your rag” without an explaination of what that is or a description of how you would do that. Then a .gif of a ruler also with very little explaination of what is going on.

Teacherman, you may be a new member to this site and I know you may be a little skeptical about what we preach here at TopVelocity, but if you’ve come here just to complain we can give you evidence of why TopVelocity works. If you give us a proper explanation of what you mean by ‘resistance in the rear hip’, ‘wring your rag’ , etc, we would be willing to openly discuss about this issue. However, we here at TopVelocity believe that hip to shoulder separation is the way to go and this is ‘cutting edge’ stuff in the pitching world. It may seem archaic (or whatever you want to call it) because either you play another sport where this may seem like conventional wisdom. However, conventional methods = conventional success. And we’ve taken our information from both new and old sources. So if you’d like to explain your approach to pitching we will gladly be able to try and confirm why TopVelocity is the best program out there.

We are all here to learn so how about you educate us on what a cutting edge site is? This is completely unrelated to pitching but I am sure we all can learn something from your computer skills. Why not!

Credentials?

Really?

Are you saying you don’t have the ability to think for yourself?

Do you lack the ability of independent thought?

Are you saying unless I have ‘a name’ that you can not decipher the quality of the information?

Are you saying the name…or the title…makes the information worthy?

You can not get up out of your chair and ‘work’ your body in the manner I have described, to create the resistance that leads to the exponential burst of speed, and compare that to a push into a block?

You need a little piece of paper that says someone knows what he’s talking about?  You can’t tell by listening?

I am a hitting guy.  I work with several professional hitters, DI college players, and a multitude of young kids.  If you can not swing or throw ‘in a phone booth’….meaning….if you need momentum to swing or throw….you will NEVER reach your potential.  Momentum ‘tops off’ the swing or the throw….it does not create it.  Momentum adds that last bit to a power system that MUST be generated from within the space occupied by the stationery body….within the body’s width.

In the course of working with hitters…..I have had a few pitchers ask for my advice.  A DI pitcher had Tommy John surgery.  Threw 90+ before surgery.  Couldn’t get over 88 after surgery.  I worked with him over the net….Skype….never met him in person.  I taught him how the body must develop and use resistance to create sudden exponential speed.  And you teach that by ELIMINATING MOMENTUM.   He learned to generate power without momentum.  He learned to create the rag wring load ‘around’ the ball of the femur.  Drafted in the 7th round.  He is now in AA and cruises at 92-93 and tops at 96.

Credentials?  Are worthless.  Read and study.  Watch the best.  Compare anything anyone tells you to video of the best.

I have frequented many forums over the years.  This one is brutal.  This software is archaic.  Maybe there are settings that improve it.

vbulletin is the most user friendly IMO.
