This question is for Brent.
I recently found out about Prolotherapy. They are injections to your tendons that cause swelling in order to strengthen the tendons. I don’t have an arm injury but I am thinking of doing Prolotherapy to prevent arm injury in the future. I believe you can have Prolotherapy injections on your wrist, elbow, and shoulder. If anyone else knows more about Prolotherapy feel free to chime in. So my questions is, would you recommend this Prolotherapy?
Thanks

Prolotherapy I believe is used to relieve pain, not to actually prevent injury – but I’m not exactly sure on the science of it. Injections itself is a pain in the ass so I wouldn’t recommend it. Best to just follow a strength and conditioning program like 3X to strengthen your whole body, and know your limits so that you’re not overworking yourself – that should keep yourself injury-free.
