Hello Topvelocity Forum my name is Jordan Beck. I’m 19 years old RHP located in MD.I was diagnosed with FAI in both my hips (genetic issue where extra bone grows on your hip capsule), and a torn right labrum because of this. I had arthroscopic surgery in December 14′ and was recently cleared to train again. I worked with Brent previously, topping at 73 when I was 17 to topping at 84 before my injury. I have limited internal rotation in my left hip because of the FAI but my right hip should be like any normal rip. I don’t want to go through the rehab process again and was wondering before I begin olympic lifting again, which stretches should I perform to increase internal rotation as well as other “inspections” I can perform on myself so I know my mobility issues? Also if Brent is able to respond to this, what ways could I possibly train with you beyond the summer? I’m taking a little break from school and was wondering if there are ways to train in Louisiana beyond the summer. Will also post video of pitching/lifting mechanics soon.
Without working hard, you will never reach you’re goals.

Jordan, happy to hear you are still working through your issues. Sounds like good progress.
I always refer to Kelly Starretts Supple Leopard for any mobility training.
3X Training is running all year long. Call me when you want to come down and I will give you details. You can train with some of the pro guys in the fall if you want.
