Thought on creatine and pre-workout? | Strength and Conditioning | TopVelocity Baseball Forum

I am a lefty pitcher, 6’3”, 185 lbs. I currently throw low 80’s. I am starting to do heavy lifting and implementing Olympic lifts. I take protein powder, but I was curious what your thoughts are on taking creatine and/or pre-workout? I recently got a sample of pre-workout from my protein powder I ordered and it worked well, but I am not sure if spending $30 for around 20 servings is worth the long term results. Same with creatine, or whether or not it is healthy. Do the pitchers at your camps take any form of supplements? If so, what do you recommend?
I am very interested in the 3x program and have been looking into it for months now. I’ve read almost every article you have on this site on lifts and mechanics and such. After this summer, depending on how much money I can save up, I might look into buying the program.
