I just found this guy on youtube and he looks like a really smart guy for every sport.

here is talking about batting

here he is talking about pitching

I think he's got it all he does strength and conditioning and he looks really smart with mechanics of pitching and hitting. He might be as smart as you are with pitching but i think you might know a little bit more. Check him out and tell me what you think.

Based on what I see here I am not getting a good understanding of his approach. I do not believe that he is correct when saying that a shorter stride creates more hip rotation than a longer stride. I believe hip rotation has more to do with ground reaction forces than stride length. I also do not believe he is correct when saying that the hip abductors rotate the hips. The glutes have more to do with hip rotation than the hip abductors.
