Take a look at this article that Brent wrote https://www.topvelocity.net/3x-…..nkle-kick/

Also, looking at your mechanics, it seems like your front leg is flying out too quick and pushing you off the rubber. That’s why your so far off the mound. You have to push your back leg (think explode to your hip being open) to your front leg. Also, I quick way to tell if your exploding is to look at your chest thrust.

Look at felix hernandez: http://www.gannett-cdn.com/med…..faa9f8741e

So just summarizing what japper said: explode w/the black leg instead of leading w/the lift leg. correct?

Here are my numbers:

Height= 6′ 0”, Weight=155, Age=15

Squat=185 @ 8 reps

Chest Press= 45 @ 8 reps

I don’t bench press.

thanks so much for the advice guys

i understand those numbers may not be great, but there is a lot of improvement for me from November to now. Just got to keep working hard, all day every day

My goals are:

1) by next spring weigh 175

2) throw 83mph by next spring

I agree with Brandon about quickness. You definitely have some quickness and decent mechanics for your age, you just need to put on some raw strength and size on top of that quickness, which you have plenty of years to do. To me it looks like a matter of getting your legs powerful enough to legitimately line up your force vector. Definitely a good foundation here to work off.
