I got two mechanics. The reason I have two mechanics is because the one with more velocity used to bother my elbow, but I may found a way to cause less pain now so I've decide to start practicing it. Even so, the mechanics with more velocity is just about 5mph+ than my more accurate mechanics.

However, the accurate mechanic at least safeguard my BB rate, and under a good condition I can get to the edge of the strike zone of where the catcher wants me to throw for both 4 seam and curve. Even under a bad condition I am still able to get to the strike zone, just may not be where catcher wants.

So what do you guys think about my situation? Should I try faster velocity mechanic in the game coming up or I should stick with more accurate mechanic until the faster velocity mechanic is more stabilized? (It's hard to change mechanic in game because I need at least a bullpen session to change mechanic)

Also, if I get the 3X program, which mechanic should I work on? I haven't get it yet but I guess I only have time to work on one mechanic…

snowmen10, I was a velocity freak. I always wanted to throw hard. I hated pitching when I couldn't throw the ball past every hitter. The problem was I had a bad walk to strike ratio and I either had a great game or a terrible game. This mentality always got me to the next level but I never could be consistent enough to produce some good numbers.

If you are pitching in front of scouts you better throw hard but if this is game is not a big deal then just focus on hitting your spots. I would suggest you get on the program because the 3X Pitching velocity program will teach and coach you to increase velocity without losing precision.
