Now since its the off-season, should i still be throwing or shut it down for a few months. And if I should shut it down, when I do start to throw again what is the best throwing program to do before I hit the mound?

You can take 2-4 weeks off of anything just after your season to recover then once you start the off-season, I recommend the 3X Pitching Velocity Program which includes your off-season throwing, strength and conditionin and anaerobic conditioning programs. I then recommend following your 16 week or longer off-season training with the 3X Pre-Season Program 4-8 weeks before your new season begins. Finally, I recommend the 3X In-Season Program when the new season starts. That should give you everything you need all season long.
