It really comes down to the situation. There simply is no best pitch in baseball. Some may call it a strike, some may call it a fastball, whatever it is , it’s based on the situation. Sometimes throwing balls can get the hitter out. So getting strikes all the time doesn’t really matter. Also, if you have a basic plan like, throw hard in, soft away all the time, hitters will start to notice. So sometimes you’ve just got to throw a fastball away, or a changeup in. This is why it’s important to get the opposition’s information. Obviously for most people, it’s kind of hard to do that. So just believe in yourself, and throw what you think is best for the time and not following a pitching plan, as in what pitch will you throw on let’s say the 11th pitch. Obviously having a pitching plan like what you’re going to do after every pitch or before every pitch whatever you do in your pitching plan that’s what’s important 😀
