Hey guys just want to thank everyone especially Brent for everything he has done on this site for all of us. I was 82-84 in August of 2012 and yesterday I got clocked at 90 MPH. It’s just an amazing feeling that I hope everyone with this program will one day feel.

AJ, are you an under 6 foot guy? If you are, I definitely have some questions being that I’m only 5’10”.

congrats man! I’m hoping to be hitting 90 soon as well. Keep it up!

That’s really awesome! Keep it up. Also, are you draft eligible this year?

what do you think was the most helpful in increasing your velocity?

What is your max power clean?

How many more mph do you think you will increase?

thanks man

My goal just like anyone else’s is at least 100 MPH I mean every pitcher should have that as a goal I would think. I just turned 19 last month, I’m roughly 5’10” on a good day and I weigh around 185-190. I just started cleaning seriously about 4 weeks ago so i don’t think i am where i should be at. My squat is 585 for 1, my deadlift is 480 for 1, my bench is 250 for 1. My clean is 200-205 depending on the day. I’m still getting the form down, I was at 175 a couple weeks ago so ive been making solid gains. Most likely because I have such a high deadlift its making the transition a little easier. I do a lot of rotation throws from both sides evenly a few times a week depending on my soreness. I also do extensive band work and shoulder stretches 3-4 times a week to get increased range of motion and strength in the rotator cuff. Some other exercises I recommend are elevated trap bar deadlifts super set with box jumps. This helps simulate a vertical jump while pulling the weight up and the box jump helps the explosive power. Some other things I use are sklz hopz pro for my vertical jump as an additive. I am against long distance running to the fullest because it contradicts everything you do on the mound but that’s another story. My nutrition is no dairy and no desert. No sauces, no candy, no white starch, 180-200 grams of protein daily 10 grams of creatine daily and high doses of amino acids throughout the day. I’m free for any other questions
