It just shows what you said. You dont have to have 3x in order to hit triple digits. I am the first person that brought up Ventura months and months ago as i know his routine of training. No one believed me a small guy barely weighing anything and not power lifting could throw Verlander speed.

My comment to everyone else is this. He is not a mystery. Anyone who understands what it really takes to throw hard would automatically know that he does it. He doesnt lift and he throws 100mph. He doesnt Olift and he throws 100mph. It just proves you can do it. Same for carlos martinez who throws 102mph. Small guy. I also know a guy who throws 104 and i have video. He doesnt lift at all. He is top prospect

True, but he certainly is blessed with insane amounts of fast twitch muscle and there are many ways to improve speed and explosiveness without lifting. I imagine his workouts are filled with plyometrics and other speed drills. And to say that he doesn’t “lift” is an overstatement. He certainly uses resistance in some way in his workouts, he’s with a Major League Organization for crying out loud! So, yes it can theoretically be done, but for those without otherworldly genetics, weights combined with speed work are the way to go.

bezball25, do you gamble? If not you should because I know guys who gamble and have won tons of money. It is obvious proof that you do not have to work for a living. I have been telling everyone for years that working for a living isn’t necessary. All you have to do is play at the casinos or buy a lottery ticket because it is as good as gold.

This is how ridiculous your statement is above. What do you think the odds are that you will throw 100 mph without training for strength, speed or power? Why are 17 of the top 20 hardest throwers of all time from the 2000’s alone? Why was more than half the Mitchel Report pitchers? Why did the two greatest high velocity pitchers of the last decade; Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens, strength train their entire careers especially the older they got? Why does the average weight of the top 20 hardest throwers of all time weigh 216 lbs? Why was Dylan Bundy drafted out of high school touching three digits? Why does most top level D1 Universities baseball programs have strength and conditioning coaches? Why did Jim “The Rookie” Morris credit his ability to throw upper 90’s at 35 years of age to his heavy weight training program? Why has the average MLB player gained over 20 lbs since the 1960’s? Why do studies show a big correlation of body weight to pitching velocity?

An athlete is not measured in brute strength but more accurately in power to weight ratio. If Tim Lincecum can power clean 225 and he weighs 150 pounds then he can move 150% of his body weight in an explosive manner. That is an elite athlete because I can power clean 225 4 sets of 10 but I weigh 235. I am sure Tim has never power cleaned anything but I know he can do a back flip. How high is your vertical if you can jump up in the air and flip around backwards and then land on your feet? At least 35-40 inches. This is usually the vertical jump of someone with a power to weight ratio of 1.5+ which is more than 150% of their body weight. You don’t have to train to improve your power to weight ratio if God blessed you with an elite one but this is not the majority of the population. This is why 90mph is so attractive to scouts because the majority of the population was not blessed with this ability. If you became a coach with your mentality how would you coach someone to develop elite power if they were not born with the genetics to develop it? If you can answer this question then we can actually have a productive conversation because the picture that you painted above is a total fantasy.

the funny thing about you is if its not your way then its wrong. You have a lot of arrogance when it comes to training. EC has ton more creditbility so his arguments are interesting. Some of what he says is crazy but its the same for you. I NEVER said pitchers dont need power. They need it but they dont need certian training methods that can increase the chance of injury for those who most likely cant perform the proper technique. The funny thing is you say i couldnt coach. Im actually one of the top Professional pitching instructors to MLB, College and High school pitchers. I have many top prospects that work with me who i have used my methods to get them to 90-100 just like Ventura. THey have power but the way to get it is more simplier than Olifts. Thats my point. You dont have to Olift to hit triple digits. You dont have to triple extend to get triple digits. Plain and simple and the pitchers doing it prove my point. It would be great to triple extend if possible bc that is great if you can. It does lead to more velocity but if they dont accomplish it in their delivery they still can hit 100.

@bezball25

Do you have a website so we can see your training methods? If not, can you post them or pm me so I can see them? I’m just curious as to what you do.

bezball25 quote:

This is completely untrue. I promote and coach hip to shoulder separation which was not discovered by me but the NPA who actually has their own pitching velocity program.

As for the arrogance statement you are confusing passion with arrogance. I am passionate about what I do not arrogant. If I was arrogant I would be saying things like 3X Pitching is the only way to pitch and throw hard or if you don’t use 3X Pitching then you will never throw hard. I have never said anything like this.before or given the impression.

I am with Brandon here, I would like to learn this superior approach to pitching velocity that you so confidently talk about. Can you break it down for us?

Good afternoon. In virtual gambling halls, roulette is presented in all relevant varieties – French, European, American. However, there are also original options – mini roulette, wheel without zero, etc. And roulette with a live dealer, through an online broadcast, differs in the most realistic atmosphere of the gameplay. In the classic version, the wheel is divided into sectors with digital designations from 1 to 36, there is also a zero. Who knows, here https://casinoanalyser.com/casino-software, casino roulette is presented? I really want to play this game!
