I know Perry Husband’s Effective Velocity has been discussed on this forum a few times. Just want to say, I decided to buy his three web books that he has on Effective Velocity for a total of about $60 and they were worth every penny. I say this is a perfect compliment to 3X Pitching, especially after you reach your velocity goals.

Effective Velocity is the same approach Tim Lincecum, Roy Oswalt and many other strikeout pitchers use to get hitters out. Once you read the material, you will realize what really gets hitters out and most of the time when pitchers get hit, it is often because they (unknowingly) allowed themselves to get hit. Pretty interesting stuff.

Also it’s interesting that Perry is an advocate of the shorter pitcher because of the lower, more deceptive release point. Something I enjoyed reading.
