This is something I learnt from my sabbath school class today. By the way, I’m Christian and for those who aren’t please don’t rage against me, but i think this will help you.
1. Never be satisfied. If you’re satisfied you won’t want to push on.
2. Be single-minded. Focus on one thing. if you don’t How can you be committed to do it?
3. Don’t look back. I have this quote that explains this.
“The past is not the past, if it affects your future.”
4. Moving forward. Turn your dreams into action.
5. Press on to do what you set yourself. Persist and persevere. Have a few quotes to help support this.
“success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.”
“you never reach a standard higher than yourself.” if you can’t reach it what’s the point in doing it?
“when there’s motion, there’s friction.” whatever you do, there’s always going to be something that stops you from doing it. So persist and persevere will bring you success.
6. Be motivated for above. God always does things whole-heartedly. We should too. We should give out 100% and pray to God to give the results.
7. Be proactive, not reactive. Take the initiative. Don’t always wait for someone to tell you to do something. You won’t get anywhere this way.
8. Draw inspiration from positive role models and positive things. If you choose a bad inspiration you too will become bad.
“you adapt to what you spend your time on.” so spend it on good positive things.
9. Keep away from the wrong crowd. People can bring you down and change you. It’s the same as the last point. Your friends can become inspirational people, to you, and if their bad you’ll be bad too. I’m not saying not to be friends with these people as you need a variety of friends, but know who they are, for they can change you.
10. Always be goal seeking. Always set yourself goals. Also make sure they are goals that you can control, and not goals that determine the outcome or result.
I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes,
“do what is right and your best and leave the results to God.”

No problem Darrell. I think this site will also become an inspirational site XD. My christian faith is the backbone of my life. So, non Christians I recommend you become Christians. If you don’t like christianity, then just take the attitude that Jesus shows us. It will change your life and I feel that you can be successful people 😀

Great stuff!

Thank you for posting this. When I was working hard to make my come back after surgery I spent a lot of time reading positive information and hanging around positive people. I really believe that if you can see yourself accomplishing your goals in your mind then it is a lot easier to recreate it. Your advice here is what you will need to make it all happen.

Hey Zedoryu:

How’s it goin?

Very well put, it could not have been presented any better, your last quote should be everyone’s key, daily inspirational thought. #9, I was talking to my grandson just the other day about that very situation, which is to keep out of trouble stay away from trouble and you cannot innocently get into trouble by association, make bad choices and suffer the consequences. I have been there in that situation more than once during my elementary and Jr. high school days, actually in those days sports kept me out of a lot of serious trouble. Pertaining to your heading comments, Do not even let the thought  enter your mind that anyone, especially those on this site will think or have any negative thoughts about your beliefs and comments, you certainly are on the right track, keep rolling in the right direction and you will never be wrong, more power to you and “ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR ELDERS.” they might know something that you do not know and best of all you just might learn something. you have great thoughts combined with great heart, an excellent combination to work with, keep it that way and you will always remain on the right track.

Nuff Said.

Hey Brent,

You are so right, visualizing one's self doing and accomplishing whatever one is attempting to accomplish leads to successfully accomplishing one's particular goal/goals. I would like to add that the eyes first have to visualize, this initial visualization is then sent from the eyes to the mind, on in to the brain which sends the message to the body which yhen assembles it all together and enters it into one's body either in a negative or positive message which immediately thereafter turns into either, negative or positive body action/actions, Allowing negative thoughts to enter ones mind creates negative body actions, Allowing positive thoughts to enter ones mind creates positive body actions. All together the eyes, the brain and the mind determines whether the body actions will be either negative or positive, depending on which one enters the mind.

Play in the present, focus only on the immediate task at hand, learn to and how to separate the things you cannot control from the things you can control and to never allow the uncontrollable things to enter your mind, only allow the things you can control to enter your mind. mind over matter. Be and stay positive thinking.
