I stumbled across one of Top Velocity’s YouTube videos in late 2015/early 2016. From there I began watching a lot of videos and breakdowns of players to grasp the pitching philosophies and mechanics of Brent Pourciau. The kinetic chain total body philosophy appeared to be the healthiest way to approach pitching and his video analysis of players were spot on. Everything he was talking about was making a lot of sense and I wanted to learn more. He surely has one of the best programs in baseball, so I felt like I wanted to take the next step. I contacted Top V and headed to a 3X Pitching camp in SoCal to become a Certified 3x Coach. Several months later I headed to a 2x Camp in Louisiana to get certified in the 2x Position Players program thus becoming one of the first Top Velocity coaches to be certified in both 2x and 3x. Top Velocity’s programs are not only great for providing players the best training in baseball, but it has also given me a second chance at baseball where I can help train players to get to the next level.
